Through the generosity of the Friends of the Library of Upper St. Clair, Upper St. Clair Township Library is proud to present four engaging programs in partnership with The Frick Pittsburgh. What do ragtime, the Ferris wheel, and George Westinghouse have in common? They all helped bring a nation to life at the grandest fair of its time. In this dynamic presentation, the Frick revisits the World’s Columbian Exposition, held in Chicago in 1893—a defining moment of the Gilded Age that set the stage for a new century.
