An Evening with Sherrie Flick In-Person
Join us for a thoughtful conversation with Pittsburgh-based author Sherrie Flick as she shares insights from her two newest books. Homing: Instincts of a Rustbelt Feminist explores how place, travel, and return have shaped her identity and writing. Her story collection I Have Not Considered Consequences blends flash fiction and longer narratives, featuring both humans and bears navigating life’s complexities. Flick’s work has earned recent recognition from the Heinz Endowments and The Best American Essays 2023. This event offers a unique look at how two very different books reflect one writer’s evolving worldview.
