Chernobyl: The Aftermath of the World’s Greatest Nuclear Disaster In-Person
Join the Upper St. Clair Township Library as we welcome bestselling author Michael Haritan. Haritan will discuss his book Chernobyl: Aftermath of the World's Greatest Nuclear Disaster, offering an in-depth look at the 1986 disaster. Through a detailed timeline and personal photographs, he shares not only the events of the catastrophe but also the lives of the people who lived and worked in the area, as well as those affected by the tragedy. Haritan’s book provides a thoughtful look at the lasting impact of Chernobyl more than thirty years later. This event takes place on the Third Floor of the Library.
