Folkways: Art and Crafting in Appalachia In-Person
In this class, we will celebrate the art and craft of the region, with a special emphasis on dulcimers, face jugs, and basketry. We will also explore the vital role of museums and institutes in preserving and continuing these cherished arts, instilling a sense of duty and responsibility in our understanding of Appalachian culture. This event takes place on the Third Floor of the Library.
