Needle Felting Class

Needle Felting Class In-Person

USC Library is excited to present a special evening program for the creative community!

Join us on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM for a hands-on workshop with resident artist Judé Ernest. In this fun and engaging class, you'll learn the art of needle felting while creating a decorative 3D Flaming Candle.

No prior experience is necessary—this workshop is perfect for beginners! You'll be guided step-by-step as you hand needle felt wool fibers and other materials into a unique fiber sculpture. Along the way, you'll discover safe needle felting techniques, gain insight into the history and science of fiber arts, and leave with your very own 3D candle creation.

Space is limited to 15 participants, so be sure to register early! All tools and materials will be provided. A suggested $10 donation helps support future programs.
